 Teritex celebrates 30 years in business
|
Teritex is pleased to announce that on the 1st October 2008, the company celebrated 30 years in business. The company has been on the same site for all 30 years, and is one of the oldest, if not oldest manufacturer of football scarves/hats etc in the UK.
From the early days of wristbands for pop groups and football clubs, the company now manufactures a wide range of products, using the latest in digital printing and knitting technology. The company started from just a handful of staff, and has substantially grown over the years.
Teritex looks forward to many years ahead, and would like to take this opportunity to thank all its current, past customers and staff – especially to those who have worked regularly with us to this day for the last 25+ years ! |

 TERITEX INVESTS SUBSTANTIALLY IN THE LATEST IN DIGITAL PRINTING TECHNOLOGY.:
Teritex has recently made a substantial investment in the very latest in digital sublimation printing technology. This means that very high resolution graphics can now be produced on our scarves (fleece, ‘silk’ polyester, mini car), pennants (scarf pennant, large, small, mini), bandannas, novelty cushions, flags etc.
Samples can now, if necessary, be produced within the hour, and it is now more economical to set up for smaller production runs – very important for the smaller football/rugby clubs.
Photographs/multiple colours/high definition/shading are now all possible – keeping Teritex at the forefront of technology and the industry.
Photographs of pop groups / company premises / stadiums / products can all be used in promotional material in ways that could only previously have been dreamed of !

- Leg Warmer Production Resumed:

Teritex has resumed production of its leg warmers - primarily used by Ballet Dancers. They can be produced in various lengths, either as plain or with stripes. Made from 100% acrylic, they are of tubular construction thus avoiding any uncomfortable internal seams. Teritex are proud to announce the new web site for Teritex Romania,
offering a CMT Service for general/specialist fabrics.

Teritex was one of the first in the sportswear accessory market to
use the internet as a means of marketing. Its comprehensive website
has resulted in many orders both from the U.K. and from abroad. In
fact, with some customers, communication has been entirely by email
- sending artwork and orders by email, and then delivering goods without
any paperwork !
The site is now bringing in business from all over the world - as
far afield as New Zealand , USA, Scandinavia, and many European Countries.
Orders for Hats,scarves and many other items have been despatched
as a result of internet orders for a few years now.
The use of email and the internet has increased response rates considerably.
Linked in with the CAD CAM Knitting and Printing Technology, artwork
and orders can be turned around very quickly.

Service Teritex announce a new CMT Service for
general/specialist fabrics. We have very good contacts in Romania
for CMT (Cut, Make and Trim) work. Call us if you have any requirements
that you would like to discuss.

Site Brings in New Business : We have had our
first major order from our Web SIte on the Internet. An American customer
was looking for a manufacturer/supplier and found our site on one
of the many search engines that we are registered with on the World
Wide Web. We have since despatched 8000 hats to our new customer.
- Richard
Branson's new Sweater : Some time
ago we had an urgent request from a company promoting a new package
tour company. We were asked to produce the Sweater in 24 hours and
duly sent the sweater down to London. Here is a copy of the an article
